Happy Fat Thursday! How many “pączki” did you already have? huh? 🙂
Fat Thursday is Poland’s tastiest tradition. It is celebrated on the last Thursday prior to Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Last chance for some sweet sins, so you eat without thinking about calories. Btw. you can buy pączki (kind of doughnut) all year round, but only for today, there are about 100 million pączki produced (3 for every citizen).
